Impressive economic development along with rapid urbanization in Vietnam has brought many people out of poverty, however, at the same time, has raised many urban environmental concerns, especially sewerage systems. Almost untreated effluents from households, industrial factories and hospitals which have been flowed directly into rivers, lakes and canals, greatly have affected the life and activities of surrounding people.
General viewpoint is that economic growth must be associated with social development and environmental protection, striving for target of preventing and reducing environmental pollution.
Therefore, investment of wastewater treatment systems are necessary to protect environment and create conditions for sustainable development of society for next generations can inherit the benefits that we bring.
